     Network ManagementAt the core of most modern networks is at least one network management station that is used to view the whole network topology and investigate issues or problems. Unfortunately this requires dedicated skills and resources and few companies have the infrastructure to make the most use of these tools. Computrad through Trend can provide the advice, expertise and even a remote management capability that can help to improve the management and control of a customer's network. The network management area forms a integral and growing part of the Operations Control Centre. From here, suitably qualified and approved specialists are able to monitor network activity 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, initiate diagnostics remotely and manage network functions as appropriate for each of their clients, subject to the terms of their service contract and SLA. This group currently manage a range of networks using a variety of management systems and applications, that include 'best of breed' remote diagnostics and performance reporting tools. With access to these skills and tools and both organisations having joint visibility of the network and devices attached to it allows for better communication, faster resolution of issues and increased network availability and performance.
