Network Troubleshooting and Integrity ChecksNetwork Troubleshooting and Integrity Checks With its partnership wirth Trend who have a history in Test and Analysis, Computrad has a unique troubleshooting capability that is even more important when trying to resolve complex, intermittent or application related problems. Computrad's Troubleshooting and Integrity Check Services can be called upon as part of an existing support contract or when customers need additional skilled resources and tools to identify ongoing problems. For example, problems due to operating equipment close to its design limits or at high levels of utilisation may not at first be apparent. However as the network load increases the problems will eventually become evident and could be mistaken for hardware failures or even obscure genuine faults, thereby lengthening the time to resolution. The Network Troubleshooting Service is reactive. It responds to specific network issues that are affecting network performance and service levels. Fast and effective diagnosis and resolution of network faults ensures that network service is restored in the shortest possible time. In contrast, the Network Integrity Check Service takes a pro-active approach to network management and support by providing an understanding of the health and performance characteristics of the network. Potential or existing problems can thus be identified and appropriate action taken before there is serious impact on network performance and integrity. The range of Specialist Services below are available either as 'stand-alone' services or as additions to NetCare, NetControl or NetSecure contracts
