Three Steps to Policy-Powered Networking

Policy-Powered Networking lets you efficiently manage your Internet traffic and to filter out undesirable Web content on an enterprise or service provider network. The process of implementing a Policy-Powered Networking solution includes three steps:

1. Define policies that link your network resources with your Internet policy

   Select the types of content that you want to filter, including adult content, gambling, weapons, hate , drugs and Web mail. Define network actions such as permitting free access, blocking or warning about adult material, or restricting certain types of material to selected hours.

2. Create groups or individuals for filtering

   Set up user groups by assigning IP addresses or subnet of addresses.

3. Enforce your rules, monitor and report

   Let NetPure examine all Web traffic and match it to the policies that you have defined. NetPure will permit access, warn, or block content. View logs that report on inappropriate usage as necessary
