citrix netscaler platinum edition Citrix NetScaler web application delivery solutions run on purpose-built hardware appliances designed to fulfill the performance and scalability needs of small and large enterprise and Internet-centric customers. In addition to traditional networking metrics such as system throughput and TCP connection counts, NetScaler appliance platforms are designed to deliver performance metrics that are most relevant to transactional web application traffic. For example, the next-generation NetScaler MPX-series industry-leading appliances can offer up to 750,000 HTTP connections per second and 48,000 encrypted (SSL-based) transactions per second. Total throughput can reach 15 gigabits per second, all the way to Layer 7. Compression rates and SSL throughput exceed six gigabit rates. These new MPX designs provide the maximum feature concurrency whereby all functional modules can be utilized simultaneously with minimal reduction in overall throughput.
