ExpandView

EXPANDVIEW

A component of the Expand Compass, ExpandView is the customized central management solution for all Accelerators. As is the focus of all Expand products, ExpandView is designed for productivity, cost reduction, and simplicity. In a unique way, ExpandView's simplicity helps to both drive the cost out of Expand solution ownership and increase productivity through workflow savings. To ensure maximum value from your Expand solution, ExpandView is critical for success.

Simplified Management

Expand ExpandViewExpandView takes the complexity out of deploying Accelerators. Immediately following installation, ExpandView is ready to automatically detect all Accelerators and build a configuration and performance database for these Accelerators. As additional Accelerators are deployed, ExpandView automatically updates them with group configurations and starts collecting statistics from them. In order to improve management productivity, ExpandView enables group configuration of QoS and policy prioritization. New policies are published to multiple devices in a single step. Further, QoS policy consistency is enforced by creating QoS templates. Combining efficient control and automation, ExpandView simplifies deployment and management in a productive, yet cost saving manner.

Visualize Performance

At the center of ExpandView's visibility capabilities is a dynamic map which provides a real-time view of the WAN and the ability to monitor and manage Accelerators via simple click and drag operations. Ideal for NOC (Network Operations Center) operations, the ExpandView map provides an immediate visual of the global network and application performance, including alerts. Armed with performance insight, this same map allows IT managers to intelligently modify the performance of any application or remote location in just a click or two.

Continuing to intelligently manage the infrastructure, ExpandView provides alerts on application performance thresholds, enabling proactive management. Acceleration percentage, CPU utilization, and other parameters can be used to predict potential issues, giving IT time to act before performance degrades significantly. Intelligently taking data to the next level, ExpandView will trend utilization data to help plan for the future.
