It supports multiple file sharing protocols, so you can consolidate and make a single centralized platform to manage and protect, or you can create a scalable disk-based backup/replication target. And if you have a Fibre Channel SAN, you can use the x64 SAN model and its built-in iSCSI software target to create file access and tiered block storage for application servers.

Once your solution is installed, you'll find that you spend less time and effort on file management and maintenance. You can manage and troubleshoot from almost anywhere with either remote desktop or Integrated Lights-out 2. Since it's running Windows, it integrates seamlessly into your Active Directory and DFS environments, runs your favorite antivirus or backup applications, and has a familiar management look and feel.
