It includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, host intrusion prevention and firewall for the desktop, anti-virus for servers, anti-virus and anti-spam for e-mail servers, and anti-virus for the SMTP gateway. The solution is tightly integrated with a single, enterprise scalable security management console for centralized control and reporting.

McAfee Total Protection for Enterprise–Advanced is engineered for medium and large companies (typically over 500 nodes) that require comprehensive system protection, plus network access control. It includes all of the base capabilities of Enterprise as well as network access control.
