Defense in Depth IDS / IPS

The cornerstone of Intrusion Prevention, Everywhere is Reflex’s industry-leading Intrusion Prevention system. Reflex’s signature, anomoly and rate-based algorithms facilitate automated defenses against a wide range of attack vectors - malicious content, DoS, anomolies, access violations, viruses and spyware. By operating inline and performing deep packet inspection on all network traffic, the Reflex IPS can block and filter illegitimate traffic flows with pinpoint precision.

Network Discovery

Integrated into the Reflex IPS sensor, Reflex Security’s Network Discovery passively records all existing nodes and services and gives context to potential threats by correlating them with the Reflex IPS engine in real time. Accurate inspection and action can be taken on threats to a particular class of node or service, changed services or new devices that appear on the network depending on the organizations policy.

Network Defender

Reflex Security takes security one step further with the Network Defender module. Communicating directly with switches on the network, Reflex’s Network Defender is able to quarantine nodes from the network by determing and blocking the switch port of the offending host, effectively removing it from the network. Network Defender allows the administrator to take defensive action no matter where on the network the node may reside, helping to defend against the propagation of viruses and worms to other hosts, even if the IPS is not operating on that network segment.
